10 Jul 2015 Team fortress 2 > tf > custom > my_custom_sound > sound. You might need to make a folder called my_custom_sound and if this is a hitsound Edit: installing a sound now goes into steamapps/common/team fortress 2/tf/custom/my\_sound\_mods, place the sound folder in there, not the username folder. Mods should either have a VPK, or a sound/foler/morefolders/etcetera/filename.wav thing. In the case of the latter, extract it so everything after sound/ is correctly
